MokaHR - JDs and Personas

In February, I joined MokaHR as a product intern to explore how AI can enhance job description workflows and support HR teams in refining candidate personas. I led the end-to-end design process, from early explorations and usability testing to high-fidelity mock-ups and stakeholder presentations.

I've had the pleasure of working with Yuxin on our AI project, Moka. She's extremely patient and detail-oriented, always taking the time to truly listen to users and understand their needs. Yuxin is open to feedback, receptive to collaboration, and never hesitates to explore different approaches. Her thoughtful design work has made a big impact, and she’s been an invaluable part of the team.

I love working with different designers on the team - everyone brings a unique problem-solving approach, which constantly challenges me to be more creative and find my value add. Working with AI has also been interesting. Users may be largely familiar with typical LLMs like ChatGPT, and they also have a level of familiarity with the platform we’re designing. When introducing LLMs into an existing platform, it’s important to find balance between innovation and familiarity to reduce cognitive load for users.
